The Itch and the Beetle On My Finger

Well, I've been witness to a weird, exciting, heart-pounding, painful, unexpected, ironic, and volatile week.

It's nice to just sit and enjoy the comfort of okay-ness. It's even nicer to anticipate this next week with the house all to my little self.

I was looking through a catalogue we had just recieved in the mail and it was chock-full of Halloween and Christmas junk. I love that junk.

I'm ready for cold weather and junk.

What seems to be never is.
Illusions are never anything real.

Facades can dance and make me smile.
I've met many actors.

Glad to be thrust forward. What an earthquake!
Shaking my bones and every organ! Then thrown out.

And splat goes me onto the pavement.

Oh Goodie

Eye Spasms 'n Other Things What Twitch

It's quite late and it has also been a long day.

-My left eye is twitching-

I've been painting new stuff so hopefully it will be up by tomorrow or the next day.
I also saw Charlotte's Web. What a sad movie. Poor, poor Charlotte....

So I've been going through these philosophical mood swings, so to speak, and they are indeed interesting....so interesting, in fact, that I was almost oblivious to me thinking them!

EXAMPLE:

Here's an excerpt from my REAL LIVE journal. Here, I am reflecting on my dwellings on negative events that occurred in the past:

"...It slowly brings the gears to a stop and then turns them slowly backward as the machine fights for them to move in the opposite direction...."

'_' INTENSE!

I didn't remember much of that until I read it over the next morning....weeeeeiiiiiirdo.....

Aaaaanyway, that is all.

I hope that all is well:)

Today, I attended my first art show as a vendor.

I got there at 7:00 AM in the morning to ensure a nice spot, and a nice spot I got; until the hot sun started peaking out over the building providing the shade.

I sat out there for 9 hours. Occasional people would stop and compliment my paintings {most of which I haven't posted yet on here} and a couple people asked for my business card, and then some would also stop and say, "Hm..." And walk away without a glance : / But OVERALL! : Amazing turnout!!!

Just as I was starting to pack up, a lady came over saying she'd like to buy "Sweet Revenge" {in my gallery:)}
I was bursting with excitement!
She bought it for her daughter and I got $53.88

In conclusion, it was great for me to see that my paintings were and are profitable - and therefore, I'm more motivated than ever ^-^

Thanks :)
